This light-hearted musical romance follows the exploits of a beautiful French opera star who abandons her fiancee and stows away aboard a New York-bound ocean liner so she can be near the bandleader she really loves.

At first the swinging maestro doesn't recognize her, but after she sings a few, love blossoms and happiness ensues.
