Eva Gabor becomes Lucy's new hospital roommate because it is suspected she has broken her foot. The glamorous Gabor gets all the attention and special treatment, leaving Lucy feeling like a lame duck. Lucy being Lucy torments Eva for the entire stay.

Lucille wanted to try something new with her hair this season, so Irma Kusely, Lucille's hairstylist, ordered some longer wigs. She styled them into a bouffant that made it easier for Irma to do some handiwork underneath to smooth out Lucille's skin without it being detected.
