Lucy's sister, Marge, shows up after leaving her new groom Hughie over an argument.
Lucy restores harmony when Hughie arrives, but talks the young couple into having the big wedding they missed by eloping. The nuptials are planned for the next day, with disastrous results.
Special Notes: Janet Waldo, best known as the voice of Judy in The Jetsons, appeared with Lucille eleven years earlier on I Love Lucy episode #20, "Young Fans".
Bloopers: Hughie does not close the refrigerator door properly and it remains slightly ajar through the rest of the scene. When Hughie returns to the kitchen a moment later, the door is tightly closed.
