When a teenage girl, Peggy Dawson, drops her steady beau, Arthur Morton, for suave Ricky Ricardo, Lucy accepts the dubious challenge of teaching the clumsy schoolboy how to dance. Unfortunately, Arthur get carried away and proclaims his love for Lucy.
To discourage the youthful duo, Mr. And Mrs. Ricardo dress up in old clothes and wire-rimmed glasses, winding up looking like their own great-great grandparents. Ricky barely manages to sing "Babalu" for Peggy, as Lucy comments, "He's baba'ed his last lu."
These disconcerting charades-including Peggy's having to "keep jiggling" Ricky's leg to keep his blood flowing-prompt the young "fans" to rush out of the Ricardo apartment together.
Special Notes: This episode is based on lucy's radio show, My Favorite Husband, Episode #19, "George Attends a Teenage Dance" as well as My Favorite Husband, Episode #76, "Liz Teaches the Samba".
Bloopers: Ricky accidentally spilled coffee on himself after Peggy startled him, but when Ricky runs back into the living room to find Lucy, his suit is fully dry.
