Lucy wins a free trip to London, England by writing a winning limerick for a dog food jingle contest. She packs her ticket in her luggage and misses her plane and must take the next flight out.

She finds herself on the same plane from Los Angeles to New York with Mr. Mooney. He is on his way to the Big Apple for a business meeting and must now take care of the hapless redhead who has never flown before.

Special Notes: This episode is a precursor to an hour-long special, produced by Desilu, called "Lucy in London" which airs the following week.
