Wally is the whimpish son of one of Harry's highschool buddies, Moose Manly. Wally hopes to inherit his father's detective agency, but the elder Manley doesn't think his son is "manly" enough for the responsibility.
After hearing Moose's story about his son, Lucy insists on helping Wally overcome his fear of girls and to show his prowess by guarding a warehouse from phoney crooks. So they frame a break-in at an old warehouse but unfortunately, the theives end up being the real thing. Wally actually does end up saving the day but Lucy and Wally also end up soaking Harry in the process.
Special Notes: Wally Cox is one of Lucille's favorites and continues being a frequent guest star. Alan Hale is best remembered as the large but loving skipper on Gilligan's Island (1964-67). Although Alan Hale and Wally Cox were playing father and son, they were only three years apart in age. Alan Hale was born in 1921 and Wally Cox in 1924.
