The Lucy Show

After buying a poor-quality fur coat for $100, Lucy must now ask Mr. Mooney for and advance on her allowance. Mooney refuses her the money as he leaves for a convention. She finds she must ask his temporary replacement for the money, who turns out to be an old flame from her teenage years. She immediately goes to work on him.

When she can't remember him or the pet name she once called him, she schemes with Viv and feigns amnesia rather than lose the hoped-for reimbursement for the coat. She hopes he'll say the name while trying to jar her memory. Lucy takes a conk on the head and really does blank out, ruining her own plan.
