The Lucy Show

Lucy and Mary Jane do volunteer work in a soup kitchen where Milton Berle has chosen to masquerade as a drunken down and out vagrant in order to learn more about bums for an upcoming movie role. Lucy literally drags Berle to her home show she can rehabilitate him.

Once he is recognized, he makes up a story about being Berle's impoverished twin brother, Arthur. Outraged that Berle would neglect his twin so badly, she infiltrates his next press event and gets revenge.

Special Notes: Lucille and Berle work very well together as they have in the past. Both perform over-the-top and therefore complement one another. Unfortunately for continuity purposes, two seasons later Lucy Carmichael will again meet Milton Berle for the first time in episode #133, "Lucy Meets the Berles".
