Handsome Italian millionaire Umberto Fabriani asks Lucy on a date but the date turns into a fiasco when she discovers he doesn't speak English. She asks Mr. Mooney to translate for her, but it turns out to be a ruse with Mooney trying to get his business.
Mr. Mooney's translations embarrass her, and to make things worse, she accidentally dumps pasta in her date's lap, ruining Fabriani's tuxedo. Lucy tries to get her escort's other tuxedo from the cleaners, and it doesn't matter to Lucy that the cleaners is closed for the night.
Disaster follows, her attempt to retrieve his tuxedo from the cleaners ends with Lucy in a vat of green dye.
Special Notes: Many of the new plots feature less and less of Vivian, who is unhappy with her role on the series. She is tired of commuting to Hollywood from her Connecticut home just to play secondary parts.
Bloopers: Lucy is supposed to have been dunked in a giant vat of green dye, but when she is fished out she isn't dripping wet.
