The Lucy Show

The bank hires efficiency expert Oliver Kasten, who not only takes over Mr. Mooney's office and responsibilities at the bank, but commandeers his secretary, Lucy.

Kasten turns her into his order-barking clone. When a major client wants a million dollar loan, Kasten and Lucy visit their assembly line and start making changes.

Special Notes: Mr. Mooney, when referring to Kasten says, "He reminds me of a sergeant I once knew." This is an allusion to the character, Sgt. Ernie Bilko played by Phil Silvers in the CBS series "The Phil Silvers Show" (1955-59). The 1996 theatrical movie, "Sgt. Bilko" was based on that series and starred Steve Martin in the title role.

Bloopers: When Kasten and Lucy are reciting common sayings, Phil Silvers says one backwards saying "A penny earned is a penny saved."
