THE LUCY SHOW EPISODE GUIDE
Ventriloquist Paul Winchell comes into the bank and opens an account with Lucy. When Mr. Mooney needs a star to entertain at the bank employees' show, Lucy saves the day by suggesting ventriloquist Paul Winchell to appear.
Unfortunately, Paul assigns Lucy with bringing his dummies to the show, and Lucy leaves them in the cab. Now Lucy must substitute for Tessie, one of his dummies.
Special Notes: Lucille is intent on gaining more young TV viewers and therefore books Paul Winchell. Winchell, ventriloquist and comedian, is the host of a successful children's program best known for his dummies Jerry Mahoney and Knucklehead Smiff.
