"Men are nothing but a bunch of mess-cats," complains Lucy Ricardo while Ricky insists, "A man's home is his castle." To make a point, Lucy divides the apartment into two equal halves. If Ricky wants to be a slob in his half, it's fine with Lucy.
When Ricky's press agent, Kenny Morgan, lines up a publicity spread in Halfbeat magazine, Lucy decides to teach her sloppy husband a lesson. Jim White, the photographer, arrives at the Ricardos' and finds it looking like Tobacco Road.
Ricky: "It's a regular pigpen!" Lucy: "It ain't a regular one, but it'll do." Lucy playfully poses for photographs amid a pile of junk, until she realizes the cameraman is from "Look" magazine, not the musicians' journal.
Special Notes: Kenny Morgan, who at that time was married to Lucille Ball's cousin Cleo, was Desilu's PR representative. This episode is based on lucy's radio show, My Favorite Husband Episode #91, "George is Messy".
