The Lucy Show

Lucy brags to Mr. Mooney about how she's going to avoid debt this Christmas by cutting back on gift giving and getting a small tree. That vow lasts until her trip to the the tree lot when she comes back with huge one.

Since it is Christmas time in sunny California, Lucy wants the fellow students from son Jerry's military academy to sing carols in the bank's lobby like the boys did back in Danfield, New York. She not only gets her way, but persuades Mr. Mooney to become the group's bass singer, after one of the boys' voice starts to chang..

Special Notes: This is the last appearance by Jimmy Garrett as Jerry Carmichael. In fact daughter Chris is not even mentioned anymore. Without Vivian or the kids as the story line participants, Lucy Carmichael relies weekly on guest stars to keep her from being boxed in by Mr. Mooney's office and that particular plot line format.
