The Lucy Show

To gain income, Rosie decides to open a charm school in Danfield. To get the financing, she approaches the wealthy Dunbars, a snobbish matron and her henpecked husband. In order to prove she has the skills and to get the backing, Rosie promises to turn a disguised Lucy, as scrubwoman Liza Lumpwhomper, into a real lady, a society debutante.

The Dunbars throw a party to debut the Countess' work, but Lucy mistakenly eats caviar to which she is allergic and disaster ensues. Things turn sour when Lucy's allergy to kicks in but on the up side, the mousy husband finally speaks up.

Special Notes: The blockboster film, My Fair Lady (1964) had just been released and many sitcoms were doing parodies of the screen musical.
