The Lucy Show

Lucy's protest letter-writing campaign for a Danfield Fire Department leads to her becoming the Captain of an all-woman volunteer brigade.

Lucy and Viv practice ceaselessly, making sure they are ready for their first call to duty. When the alarm finally rings, the girls accidentally set the firehouse on fire.

Special Notes: This is the first appearance of Carole Cook as Thelma Green. Lucille Ball appears with her own hair style instead of the usual wigs she wears, to accommodate wearing the fire hat.
