The Lucy Show

Lucy feigns illness to take time off from the bank to go shopping with Mary Jane for a huge one-day department store sale. After examining some of the items for sale in the store, and having destroyed a dish display and a refrigerator in the department store, Lucy wins all sorts of prizes as the store's ten millionth customer.

Because of the prizes she wins, her photograph will now appear prominently in the next day's morning newspaper. Lucy works hard to keep Mr. Mooney from seeing her incriminating photograph in the newspaper, making Mr. Mooney very angry in the process, and fails miserably.

In the end, Mr. Cheever awards Mooney an extra week's salary as a bonus for the free publicity. Then, he orders Mooney to pay Lucy an extra week's salary out of that bonus.

Special Notes: The address Lucy gives as her apartment address, 780 N. Gower Street Hollywood, was the real address of the Desilu Productions building.
