The union of bickering husband and wife Leon and Hazel Errol is pushed to the limit when Hazel finds out about Leon's former bride, Rosita, who ran away with a circus performer called The Great Mendoza.

To make matters worse, the Mendozas move in down the hall from the Errols. Leon takes to drink and, inevitably, he wanders into the wrong apartment and gives rise to a night of bedlam that Hazel, Rosita, and her jealous husband will not soon forget.

Special Notes: During production, Perfectly Mismated was called Scrambled Wives.
